Hi! I'm Demi Alli, a 17 year old student at the Henrietta Barnett School. I'm currently in my first year of A-levels, taking Maths, Further Maths, Physics & DTE. In my free time, I like drawing, listening to and playing music on my clarinet, reading manga and watching anime.
I've been obsessed with computers and IT from a young age, and known that I wanted to go into an IT career since, so I've been working on gaining experience in various aspects of tech. Through my subjects choices in school, personal tech projects of varying levels, many coding competitions and challenges, summer camps, and currently courses on Udemy, I plan on making myself as prepared as I can be for the future I want!
I'm looking to study Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence at uni! I've been working through the App Brewery's 100 Days of Code course,
and am now also working through this Machine Learning course
on Udemy.
In the future, I'd like to work primarily as a back-end software developer, and until then I'd like to gain more experience in useful development languages like Python and Java.
Here's the snake-game I made for Days 20-21 of 100 Days of Code! This was one of my favourite projects to make, because I learned a lot about Python, perseverance, and patience, and I got a fun local game out of it too. I often find myself coming back to it when the Wi-Fi goes out, or I need 5 minutes or so to waste!
